I am a Clinical Social Worker (Therapist), licensed in Washington State and Oregon, with over 20 years’ experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. I have had a broad and dynamic range of professional experiences, with the primary focus in helping individuals living with depression, anxiety, managing life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical or sexual trauma or emotional abuse. My years working in private practice, community outreach, and community mental health have helped develop my professional skills and improved me as a human being. I love what I do and I believe in therapy. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process, with a focus on providing you a non-judgmental, safe and nurturing environment to address the challenges in your life. I work with individuals who are in their late teens through older adults, from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and belief systems. I am eclectic in my approach, designing individual treatment plans from cognitive-behavioral, humanistic/client-centered, psycho-dynamic, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy.
