I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor in the state of Illinois and have been providing therapy for over 7 years. I received my Master's in Counseling from Lindenwood University, with an undergrad degree in Psychology and Sociology minor. My primary specialties are the following: - Trauma, including PTSD and C-PTSD - Major Depression - Generalized Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Social Anxiety - ADHD I also have experience and interest with: - Bipolar Disorders - Life transitions - Relationship Concerns - Grief - Career Counseling - LGBTQ Populations I believe in utilizing a collaborative approach. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to support you in the change you desire, providing guidance as needed. Healing from our stress and trauma requires not only talking about what happened, but changing our thinking, how our bodies respond, and becoming more present. Therefore, I often engage clients in cognitive and mindfulness strategies in sessions.
