My educational background includes a BS in Social Work, an MS in Counseling, Certification for Secondary School Counseling, and I have held a license as a Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania since 2001. First a little about me. I live with my wife Jill, to whom I have been married for over two decades, and we are blessed to have two grown sons. Our older son recently married his love from college, and they secured their first jobs and moved to Texas. Our younger son is starting his first year in college, and our third son is our Himalayan cat, Vinnie, who spends as many hours in my lap as I will allow. I have always had a passion for football, but I am also interested in most sports, including golf and bowling, and I enjoy traveling, learning, helping others meet their personal goals, and spirituality. Professionally, I have had 35 rewarding years in a variety of counseling settings, including both inpatient and outpatient counseling, mental health in the school setting, and I enjoyed numerous years as a High School Guidance Counselor in a public school. Most recently, I have been working in a private practice setting, where I am able to embrace my passion for working alongside of adults and adolescents who are in need of mental health support. I utilize a compassionate style of counseling, which focuses on building trust and confidence with my clients, as I believe that insight and empowerment are essential tools in the healing process.
