I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been in practice for 20 years. I have worked in a private mental health hospital where I had experience working with depression, anxiety and psychotic patients. For the last 15 years I have worked in a State Correctional Facility for women. I had experience there working with abuse and self-mutilation cases. While working at the prison I was certified in Hypnosis which has been shown to be very effective in treating trauma, anxiety and depression.

I practice a short-term solution based approach to counseling. Do you have a history of trauma caused by childhood abuse or abuse as an adult. Have you tried multiple treatment approaches with little to no results. Hypnosis has been shown to be extremely effective in eliminating nightmares and flashbacks. I am certified in Hypnosis and have treated many trauma clients with good results. Imagine not suffering from nightmares or flashbacks. The other theoretical approaches I follow are based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). Combined with hypnosis this makes an effective approach to healing from your past and setting goals for the future.
