John Nash is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2016. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and a Master’s of Education Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Every human has a unique and sacred story, and to tell that story with your whole heart is one of the most critical and beautiful components of growth and wellness. To have the bravery to tell it requires, at the very least, a feeling of psychological safety. John’s primary goal – in alliance with you – is to create an environment of safety in which trust can grow. And through that trust to experience the freedom to be (and maybe even find) your authentic self. John wants to communicate hope, value, and change to his clients who are in the midst of an experience of suffering, and will walk alongside of you in your journey towards your goals. John has worked in the behavioral and emotional health field since 2016 with various and diverse populations. He is trauma-informed and humanistic in his approach, meaning he believes in you and your ability to develop who you want to be – even in spite of potential pain from the past. John values empathy, curiosity, and search for meaning in his therapeutic approach. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family and exploring his kids’ interests with them. If he could travel, read, and sip and find a new coffee shop any given day of the week he would be happy.
