About

I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working with children, adults, and families in a wide range of settings. I was licensed in California in 2000. As a therapist, I strive to develop a collaborative partnership with you to address your goals. I seek to be compassionate, non-judgmental, and accepting of those with whom I am working. I have experience working with clients who are experiencing a sense of hopelessness and helplessness, grief and loss, anxiety, the impact of trauma (sexual, physical, or military), wondering about their purpose in life, and questioning their relationships.

My life experiences (military, business, pastoral counseling, parent, and grandparent) provide me with the importance of overcoming the challenges that day-to-day living brings. My education includes a Master of Science (Counseling) and Doctor of Ministry (Pastoral Counseling) degrees. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Theory, Motivational Interviewing and Existential Therapy.
