Hi! My name is John Loggins. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Texas #09894) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Texas #490) with over 30 years' experience. I have worked in agencies, hospitals and in private practice with individuals, couples, families and groups. Everyone needs help sometime whether it's your job, a relationship, your family or something you're going through that leaves you anxious, depressed, or just confused.

My first training was in the person-centered approach. That taught me to be a good listener because you know yourself and want a way to feel understood or focus on what you want. Then I wanted something more action-oriented. My experiential therapy background helps me set up opportunities for you to practice action steps in the safety of counseling before you face your real-world challenges. I have also completed two externships in Emotionally Focused Therapy in order to provide powerful tools for your relationship.

I appreciate your desire to make your life more meaningful, satisfying and joyful. Taking this first step takes courage and it may feel a little awkward (I feel the same way). It is a privilege to take the journey with you!
