Hello, my name is John Daley and I have a Master's of Social Work License from the State of Michigan. There are many challenges impacting families and communities today, and I strive to provide a safe, confidential environment that allows clients to pursue their goals in a non-judgemental, supportive yet challenging atmosphere. My goal in therapy is to provide clients with opportunities to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to enable them to enhance their social, emotional, and relationship skills and abilities to improve their personal potential and optimal well-being. I have worked for more than 30 years as a School Social Worker, providing a wide range of services to at-risk youth, students having certified disabilities in schools, their families, and the teaching staff/faculty in the neighboring communities. I have worked tirelessly with youth, parents, teachers, and administrators to help address the needs of my clients in the school community. Now, I am looking to extend this support to provide mental health support to adults and parents in the general community through GLPG! I have earned a Master's degree in Social Work (Wayne State University), with an emphasis in Mental Health, and in Family, Youth, and Children, and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (Northern Michigan University), and have teaching experience at the secondary level. My primary interest is in helping youth, parents, spouses, families, and educational staff (teachers, aides/paraprofessionals, support staff, and administrators) navigate through these very difficult times in our complex world.
