About

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 21 years of experience as a therapist. I am fully licensed in Washington and Texas, as well as licensed as a Supervisor.

I received my Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla College in 2000. I have quite an eclectic clinical experience including working with individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, ADHD, depression, grief, and life stressors. I have worked in communities as well as veteran and active duty agencies, which gave me unique experience working with these populations.

My treatment approach starts with the individual, what issues brought you to this point, and how I can walk with you through your journey to wellness. I utilize a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy modalities to treat clients.

I believe therapy begins with the relationship built between therapist and client, who together develop an individually tailored treatment plan that guide your path to your goals of wellness.

My therapy style is a blend of validation, education, kind bluntness, and guidance. I believe in treating people with kindness, respect, and dignity with a blend of humor and/or directness when appropriate.
