About
The thought of starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Sometimes we are ashamed to ask for help, or embarrassed by what we are seeking help for. The truth is, though, that in order to move forward, we have to face those things that are causing our pain and unhappiness. And sometimes we need help to do that. Asking for help takes courage. Allowing oneself to be vulnerable takes strength. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I taught a parenting class for two years and enjoy helping parents/caregivers put healthy parenting practices into action. During our work together you can count on a highly individualized treatment plan which we collaboratively establish. You can count on a warm, non-judgmental, respectful, supportive environment. You can count on working with a deeply genuine ally who views the therapist-client relationship as sacred.
