I’ve practiced counseling in various settings for over 23 years, and I’ve had significant success with my clients. My approach focuses mainly on a dynamic that I believe underlies most of our psychological stresses: the struggle between safety and freedom. Human beings attempt to keep their soul/psyche safe in the same way the we keep our bodies safe, often by choosing a "fight or flight" response when faced with a loss or a threat. I want to teach the differences in our physical and psychological needs so that our choices set us free, not keep us safe!
