Hi my name is Joanne and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of clinical experience, and I also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. The past 14 years provided substance abuse treatment in both inpatient and outpatient programs, and telehealth services for the military with the USMC and USN active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, and their dependents. Experience working with teens and their families providing individual, group, and family therapy in both the state of California and New York. Providing clinical treatment in several clinical settings including residential treatment centers, day treatment/school programs, community-based programs specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Received specialized training and facilitating parenting groups/classes utilizing the approach of S.T.E.P. (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). Graduated from Fordham University in NY receiving MSW and Marist College receiving BSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CA and Licensed Master Social Worker in NY
