About

I am a geriatric and palliative care therapist licensed in Portland, Oregon with over 25 years of experience working with seniors, caregivers and their families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss issues, coping with life transitions as we age and providing support at end of life. I have also helped many families cope with the challenges they face as they support their ageing family members.

My therapy style is warm and supportive. Compassion and kindness guide my sessions as I provide supportive and empathetic listening. By employing cognitive behavioral therapies, I am able to help clients develop concrete skills that help them to cope with the challenges that they are facing. My therapy approaches include acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focused therapy, family systems, motivational interviewing and strength based therapy. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that best meets your specific needs.

I have a deep understanding of the ageing process and the challenges that come with this. I am here to provide support and education around these issues while helping you to develop skills to cope with your own or your loved ones challenges.
