About
Have you been struggling to cope with life (especially this past year)? You’re not alone. I have witnessed personally and professionally that we are capable of change, and things can get better. We all experience a range of emotions, but sometimes get stuck where the negative overwhelms the positive. I would like to walk beside you on your journey to wellness.
My hope is to create a trusting and safe space for you to talk freely in order to get stress off your chest and create a plan towards healing. Some of the greatest compliments I’ve received were being told that I’m easy to talk to, and I can challenge you when needed with kindness and respect. I’ve learned that each person has developed a unique way of looking at the world. We will work together on challenging unhelpful thoughts, finding coping skills that work for you, and new actions to achieve your goals.
I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and was trained to work with individuals from a system’s perspective. I’m able to work with individuals, couples and families while acknowledging how various aspects of our lives shape our perspective. My background gave me opportunity to work with people of all ages in different settings, such as in-home and those in residential treatment. My clients and I have partnered up in battling struggles including addiction, grief, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, infidelity, teenage issues, and other life stressors. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and also use techniques from other models such as DBT. I believe that the main goal in life is to live it to the fullest. Everyone deserves self-love, a tribe, and moments when we truly appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
