I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with 9 years of experience working as a Facilitator and Psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger issues, and domestic violence. My counseling style is empathetic, warm, nonjudgemental and supportive. I believe respect and empathy are the primary ingredients in a solid foundation of a good therapy session. Everyone should be treated with sensitivity and compassion creating a safe zone to work through any issues. Even though the modality chosen by the mental health provider depends on factors such as age of the client, available supports, and client's preferences, my approach combines CBT, Humanistic approach, Attachment-Based Theory, Client-Centered approach, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative therapy among others. I will absolutely tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs .
