Hi, My name is Joan and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and have been licensed for 10 years. I have worked in the Inpatient Hospital setting as well as Outpatient , Residential, and Private Practice. I realize that coming into therapy takes a lot of thought and possibly some discomfort for you to consider. That's why together we will work on those life challenges that you face in a direct but compassionate manner which will include conversations, humor, reflection and change. My goal is that you will see positive results in your life through the emotional, cognitive and behavioral changes that YOU decide to make.
