My name is Jill Collins and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Kentucky. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Indiana University Southeast. as well as a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology ( M.ED) from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia , KY. I have worked within the fields of, foster care/ adoption, residential treatment, individual and family therapy. I have experience working with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, child and adolescent behavioral/ emotional issues, school-related issues, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, relationship/ communication issues, boundary-setting, emotional regulation, and trauma. I love to share mindfulness and relaxation exercises, organizational tips, goal-setting, art, Journaling, and psychoeducation. I employ a client-centered, strength-based approach to treatment so that you can focus your attention on the positive aspects of your life and work towards regaining a sense of stability and control. I value the therapeutic relationship and want you to feel comfortable talking with me in a judgment free zone.
