About

Choosing someone to be your psychologist can be difficult, and it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Additionally, therapy and assessment can be a loaded topic, especially when you have experienced negative energy in a therapeutic environment. When I meet you for the first time, my goal is to connect and make sure that we are a good fit for working with each other. I focus on making others feel heard and understood, and collaborate to develop a goal-oriented treatment plan to ensure that you are getting what you want. I offer a sense of direction, and am open to discussing difficult and activating topics. I am comfortable incorporating your identity, beliefs and values into treatment, and respect your background, whatever it may be. Most of my clinical work has been with clients during intense parts of their lives, who usually engage in extreme behaviors to manage their pain. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals, and unpack heavy experiences with grace and empathy. I believe that everyone is doing the best they can, and aim to provide a reparative relationship.
