Hello! I am Jessika Morrison, licensed marriage and family therapist! I am passionate about empowering teens and adults to live at peace with themselves and others. I help people cultivate the skills to be calm in the face of challenges. I also support people with gaining confidence, examining thoughts more deeply and creating more meaningful relationships. I encourage my clients to explore how thoughts, feelings and actions are interconnected in a non-judgmental way. Collaborating with clients and genuinely taking the time to listen is of the utmost importance to me. Additionally, I help clients who struggle with balance between kids, work and personal time. I take pride in walking alongside my clients to incorporate self-care and mindfulness-based practices to enhance their lives. If you struggle with anxiety, trauma or just are generally feeling lost, you've come to the right place. It is a privilege to be a therapist and to help you become your absolute best self. A little about me: I earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from CSU Sacramento and a master of arts in marital and family therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive experience as a trauma-informed therapist and I use mindfulness-based interventions. When I have free time, I love to spend it with my beautiful baby girl and husband (usually, cooking a delicious meal or going on a hike together!)
