Hello,
My name is Jess Lueking. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialty in Mental Health. My passion for the mental health field began in 2009, when I completed my internship in an inpatient/ outpatient setting with Avera Behavioral Health (Inpatient, EAP and Outpatient services). My passion continued to grow as I continued to serve individuals that may be suffering from a mental health or substance use related disorders. My experience has allowed me to work in both outpatient, private practice and inpatient settings.
I am grateful to have walked along side many clients, couples and their families throughout the years. Meeting each client with respect and empathy.
My training and therapeutic approach includes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, addiction training and other evidence based clinical techniques.
I have extensive background in working with healthcare professionals and providing support during periods of Burnout.
I enjoy meeting clients where they are and assisting in the process of moving forward in life. I feel an interactive therapy session tends to move clients forward towards their goals.
