Being a therapist is a great privilege. I feel honored that many have trusted me to help them on their journey to health and healing and that you are considering me. It can be scary opening up to someone you don't know and allowing them to see such a vulnerable side of you. Please know I take this process very seriously and will do my best to make you feel comfortable and safe. My method of therapy is client-directed. For example, at the beginning of a session, I often ask, "what feels most important to talk about today?" I trust that you know what you need. I will make recommendations or share my professional opinion but will follow that by asking how that fits for you. I am competent in many therapy models but do not follow anyone. I use what will be most helpful for you. I am committed to helping you make progress.
