Hello and welcome. My name is Jessica Ponn and I am a licensed and seasoned therapist based in Florida. I have had a successful private therapy practice for over 10 years now. I have also worked as a therapist and Clinical Director for nationally known private behavioral health care facilities for several years. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Florida and my master's degree in clinical social work from Florida Atlantic University.

My approach to treatment is first to help my clients to feel safe, accepted, and understood. Research suggests that one of the most significant predictors of therapy success is the quality of the therapeutic relationship, so I consider this a critical component of my work. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help clients to identify areas in which they'd like to grow and change. I would love for the opportunity to meet you and I am confident that I will be able to help you with whatever the reason is that you are seeking support for. I am very easy to talk with and you will surely see and feel that in our first session together. I am here to support you and I believe that you are the expert of your story.
