I Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) currently practicing in Texas. I have about 8 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked both in St. Louis, MO and San Antonio, TX. I have experience working with addiction, depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem issues, interpersonal relationships, and trauma, to name a few. My experience has been in outpatient settings working with adolescents struggling with substance use, medication assisted treatment for adults, and individual counseling for a range of issues.

My counseling process begins with a person-centered approach to allow the client to engage in self-exploration. I also use Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and/or Motivational Interviewing depending upon the client's needs. You know yourself best, which includes what work you're willing to put in. I am here to help increase that motivation and work together to find the best solution. If you're still reading this, I just want to point out that you're already taking a great first step towards effecting positive change.

Sometimes, we do need to just vent and be able to get some positive support from an objective person. Other times, there is more work that needs to be done and sometimes we aren't ready to make those changes, which is OK. I hope to work with those ready to make some changes whether it be mentally, emotionally, or even physically, there is always progress to be made. I look forward to continuing my own growth as a clinical counselor and helping you in any way I can!
