About

Some people experience fear that holds them back. Others are so weighed down by the complexities of life that it feels like there is not enough energy to do anything. We may shift farther and farther from the person that we want to be and sometimes it seems like our relationships start to change along with that. Oftentimes, people come to therapy because it seems like they have tried everything and feel stuck. We all have core beliefs that define how we see ourselves and the world. These beliefs have huge implications for our emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns. Some are positive and helpful, and others are fear-based and limiting. I provide a safe, calming space to begin the exploration of the internal and external factors that impact your beliefs, as well as, the feelings, behaviors, and relationships associated with those beliefs. We will gain awareness of any limiting core beliefs or relationship patterns that are no longer helpful. Together, we reframe these beliefs, if necessary, into more beneficial and realistic beliefs. We will also identify new behaviors to try out for ourselves and within relationships. I have experience working with couples, individuals, and families. I have worked within the community, private settings, residential centers, substance abuse treatment centers, and a school for at risk youth. Throughout the past year, I have also gained more experience providing a therapeutic space online as well. I love traveling to other countries and experiencing other cultures. I live in a fifth wheel at a campground because I love being in nature. My hobbies include yoga and reading. I’m just beginning to learn some about gardening!
