I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 10 years of experience. I also carry certification in Play Therapy and Integrative Nutrition. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults facing depression, anxiety and routine life and developmental stressors. I believe that all people hold the key to their own wellness and possess innate wisdom about their problems, and that the counseling relationship and work creates the necessary conditions and support to tap into that inner healing "self."

I view each client as a unique, whole person and therefore tailor treatment to each individual. I combine cognitive-behavioral methods with creative, narrative, and trauma-informed practices. I also pull from various modalities, including humanistic, child centered play therapy, IFS (internal family systems), TFCBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and sand play therapy. I believe in balancing goal-oriented treatment planning with spontaneity and "in the moment" shifts to help my clients go to the source of their emotional pain and heal from within.
