About

I've been practicing as a professional counselor in New Jersey for over 10 years, in outpatient, school and residential settings. I've worked primarily with children, families and young adults on issues related to parenting, trauma, mood and anxiety disorders. I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy model, but also utilize Solution-Focused and Motivational Interviewing modalities. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for children, and use a similar modality when working with adults.

Evidence-based treatment is emphasized in my counseling sessions, from beginning to end. Once we have discussed the reasons you're seeking counseling, we will review applicable diagnoses and treatment options for you to consider. We will always discuss expected outcomes of counseling and revisit the counseling goals we develop together.
