About
My undergraduate degree in Psychology is from Florida State University and my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology is from University of Central Florida. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida since 2017. I became a Qualified Supervisor in 2019 and have a passion for helping other clinicians pursue licensure. I have worked in a variety of settings including community based care, inpatient and residential hospitals, and in the outpatient and school settings. I have primarily worked with children, teens, and families, but welcome adults and couples as well. I welcome the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create a safe space for all. I am well versed in a variety of therapeutic modalities, but most often use a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral approach. When working with clients, it’s important to me to build effective relationships, enhance strengths, and grow resource networks. If you’ve been needing support, or have been feeling overwhelmed with stress, reach out now to talk with me. Together, we can work on strategies to address the root cause of these difficulties. I’ve always known I wanted to be a therapist. Helping others is a who part of who I am. Outside of work, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I have two dogs and two cats. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and visiting theme parks in my spare time.
