Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a licensed profession counselor in the state of Michigan. I have over 7 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including residential, women’s shelters, support groups, intensive day treatment, and outpatient care. I have a broad range of experience working with all ages groups from all walks of life. I have the most experience in helping walk with people through their grief and trauma, religious issues, and gender/identity journeys.

I am passionate about mental health due to the importance of having someone in our corner that is completely for us and non-judgmental as a small piece of calm in an ever evolving and uncertain world. I have found the more we can understand ourselves and the circumstances we live in, the more we can find solid ground to stand on and find the person we would like to be. It is my aim and my honor to attempt to provide a space where you can be your most authentic self - and feel safe doing so.

I take an eclectic approach to counseling as I believe relationship is our greatest tool. My approach encompasses using person-centered, holistic, multicultural, and integrative methods to treatment. This basically means, I meet you where you are at and am understanding of the various complexities that make you, you. I want us to build a safe, trusting relationship that can help foster growth and development.

I am warm, supportive, and compassionate. I believe in honesty and creating a foundation of truth to move forward into helping you become the best version of yourself. I believe in trying to understand the root issue to help with lasting healing. I look forward to partnering with you for your better wellness.
