My personal statement for the Find A Therapist community is that I accept a client's immediate relationships and larger, social context as being important factors in solving life's problems. Information that is useful and meaningful to solving problems is the focus of the Brief, Systemic Therapy I use. Also, I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective, which means that I am genuinely interested in providing an empathetic session for the client, one full of respect, understanding, patience, kindness and unconditional, positive regard. The emphasis of therapy is placed on developing workable solutions in a healing context.

More specifically, I am passionate about people and their relationships. I work from a Structural and Strategic orientation, which means that a well-defined plan for achieving identified goals or solving specified problems is developed in collaboration with the client.

The special factors I have to offer that are unique for the Find A Therapist community are my areas of focus, including: Individual Counseling; Marriage & Family Therapy; Blended Families, Grief & Mourning (dealing with loss); Trauma; Divorce Recovery; and Christian Living (spiritual thoughts, attitudes, behaviors).
