About

I am licensed in Utah with three years of experience as a therapist. I started my career with eight years of experience on rural municipal ambulances, and four years of experience on federal wildland fire crews. As an EMT I developed an interest in identifying solutions for unsolved community problems that lead to the overuse of emergency services. Since I have worked in group homes with youth transitioning out of foster care, juvenile corrections reform, and wilderness therapy.
I enjoy somatic processing and experiential therapy, finding new ways for people to reconnect with themselves after trauma as it's not always the cognitive thoughts that cause distress. I also enjoy the effectiveness and quick resolution of Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma and texting therapy platforms are highly effective. My goal is to quickly get to know you and help you resolve your distress. I enjoy working with all backgrounds including LGBTQ and those with non-nuclear family backgrounds.
