Life is difficult sometimes and can feel overwhelming, lonely, or sad. I have felt that way as well during parts of my life. It's difficult not to have the multi faceted parts of our lives take a toll on our mental health. Grief, loss, addiction, and trauma are all part of my story. However, the stories we believe to be true of ourselves and others are capable of being rewritten. The important factor is identifying through discovery and support of how YOU are the author. Therapy isn't as much learning skills to overcome mental health issues as it is unlearning carried shame, guilt, and negative beliefs to become an emboldened you. Growth. Meaning. Freedom. Choice. These virtues are at the core of my approach. With my clinical skillset let me assist you to heal, grow, and thrive. Building a secure trusting relationship is one of the key components to lasting change. I seek to understand you, build empowerment and to work toward therapy goals together. Let's mend the parts causing pain. Often drawing from Buddhist, Taoist, and Stoic philosophy I work with you through struggle, walk your path beside you, and advocate in your healing journey.
