Welcome! I am glad you took the important, but sometimes difficult step of reaching out for therapy. I think that you will find the experience rewarding and beneficial. No matter what, you have acknowledged a strong part of your resolve that will allow you to use therapy to your benefit. I have a variety of therapeutic experiences from working with those trying to stop using a particular substance, to those who have dealt with significant trauma in their lives. While there are many techniques and therapy approaches that can be helpful, I have found that it is important to get an idea of what would work for the individual seeking therapy as opposed to shoving everyone into one box. That said, there are particular therapy approaches that can be beneficial for certain concerns. CBT and various types of exposure therapies are some of the types of therapy that I have used in the past to help people with things like depression, anxiety, panic attacks, work stress, difficulties setting goals, and many other concerns.
