About

I am a clinical and mental health counselor licensed in the State of Texas with experience working as a psycho-educational counselor and inpatient mental health hospital as a program counselor I’ve worked with crisis interventions and with victims of crime and/or assault. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship/family issues, substance abuse, career challenges, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm, genuine, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe you are the expert in your life and I am only here to help facilitate a better quality of life for yourself. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness based practices, and reality therapy/choice theory. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
