Hi! My name is Jennifer Schwirian. I am an L.I.S.W.S. with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University and a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years.
I’m passionate about reducing stigma that can surround those with mental health and/or substance use disorders. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which is an evidenced-based approach to treating PTSD.
I believe all of us can benefit from therapy. Usually the hardest part is getting started. Asking for help can be hard, but it is also worth it!
