I am a licensed counselor in Texas with over 4 years of private practice experience. Becoming a new parent can be a challenging time. Sometimes this can include postpartum depression/anxiety. As a counselor, I am here to help you navigate this new time in your life. I also work with couples struggling with infertility and miscarriage as well. If you feel overwhelmed with sadness, worry, or struggling with feeling connected to your new baby, I can help.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Narrative therapies to help clients achieve their goals. Above all, I am empathetic, genuine, and non-judgmental. My goal is for us to work together to help you through whatever difficulty you may be experiencing. I believe we all have the tools to get us through difficult times, and my role is to help you discover the tools inside of you.
I am a certified in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. It is an honor for me to work with new families dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as simply adjusting to the new role of parent. Parenthood is a big change and I am here to help!
