About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and in Clinical Psychology. My clinical experience includes working with a variety of people including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have provided counseling services to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma.

I believe therapy provides a therapeutic relationship where you can explore issues and work towards personal growth and healing in order to reach goals. My goal is to walk alongside my clients in order to guide and support them in making healthy decisions and remove obstacles and challenges that they are faced with in their daily life. I believe that each individual is uniquely and wonderfully made.

My practice background of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), but I also believe that it is necessary, at times, to draw from other orientations and therapies in order to provide the best care possible for my clients. It is my goal with each individual to build a strong therapeutic relationship where the client can feel accepted for who they are, empathy, genuineness, and safety to explore their most challenging thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
