Hi, my name is Jennifer Rauch and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and I would love to help you find your way through life's problems. I provide counseling services to older youths and adults facing problems at school, work, or in their personal lives. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a tool to help my clients reach their goals in a timely manner. My approach My therapeutic approach definitely varies on the needs of each client. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as both modalities will help me and you build a shared understanding of your reality and allow us to work together to chart a path forward. Since you know yourself best we will work together to develop a treatment plan with both long and short-term goals working towards viewing challenging situations more clearly and responding to them in a more effective way. My focus I have extensive involvement in treating a broad array of wellness issues with particular specialties in the areas of anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, mental conflict, and depression. My experience has led me to work primarily with older youths and adolescents facing problems at school, at work, or in their personal lives. My communication style My style of communication is very calm, accommodating, and personable. I feel that is extremely important in the therapeutic relationship that the client feels respected and heard. I value myself on being an active listener. My journey to mental healthcare My friends and family have always come to me when they want someone to listen to their concerns or help them find solutions to their problems. I enjoyed being a support to them during their challenging times and I have always been so grateful that I am able to do the same with my clients as I help them through life's problems.
