Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step toward healing! My name is Jennifer, and I am a licensed professional counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor in Alabama, with previous counseling experience locally and abroad in Central America, South America, and Asia. I have worked with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences with a wide range of concerns from anxiety, ADHD, life-work balance and relationship issues to PostPartum, perinatal mental health, human trafficking, parenting issues and grief/loss. I am passionate about helping clients find freedom by working through past pain and stepping into their purpose for the future!

In addition to counseling, I am also a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance as well as a Registered Prenatal and Postnatal yoga teacher. I am passionate about approaching therapy through natural means such as breath work, movement, and human connection. Knowing that each of us are on a different journey, therapeutic approaches will vary based on the clients individual needs but often include Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Creative Therapy through music and movement. I believe in a holistic journey towards healing involving physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
