About

"Our greatest victory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." --Confucius. Perhaps you feel like you've fallen, and you're struggling to get back up and try again. I'm here to help you rise up and get back on your feet. Life can be tough and messy at times, and I am here to help you navigate through life's difficult moments. Whatever challenges you're experiencing today, you don't have to face them alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina who is passionate about helping individuals reach total healing and wellness. My ultimate goal is to support and empower my clients and assist with learning the tools to make lasting changes.

I have over 7 years of mental health experience. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. I am skilled in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, stress, compassion fatigue, family conflict, coping with life changes and transitions, and challenges with self-esteem and body image. More specifically, I often work with many women experiencing challenges in pregnancy, peripartum and postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and trauma. My approach is eclectic and includes modalities from Existential, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Reality Therapy. I utilize a client-centered approach and work to establish a collaborative relationship with my clients. I'm here to walk this therapeutic journey with you and tailor treatment plans to your unique needs.

I seek to provide a safe, warm, empathetic, non-judgmental environment for clients to freely express themselves. I believe in holistic counseling and promoting total mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Faith and spirituality can be integrated into counseling if desired to promote total healing. It takes courage to seek help and support, and I commend you for taking the first step. If you're ready to take the next step, I look forward to working with you!
