Sometimes people feel stuck or overwhelmed due to depression, anxiety, or other issues that can negatively impact their life. It may be challenging to move forward because of intrusive thoughts, excessive worry, low energy, or the inability to utilize healthy coping skills. In therapy, I seek to provide a safe place to help you feel your emotions more clearly and to help provide insight as to why you may be feeling them so intensely. I am a professional clinical counselor licensed in California with over ten years of experience working in various mental health care settings. I have worked with clients who have had multiple concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger, or relationship issues. My therapy style is person-centered and tailored toward the individual. I provide a warm, empathetic, and interactive approach to help validate and empower you while teaching you the skills needed to heal. I have experience using evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
