Hi there, I'm Jennifer! My name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Temecula, California. I work with young adults via telehealth, specializing in anxiety, depression and life transitions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based approaches. I believe authenticity and genuine connection are equally as important in the therapeutic process as the modalities that we use. My approach My approach to therapy is to meet my clients where they are at. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based approaches, but I am flexible and responsive to my clients' needs and preferences. I work collaboratively with my clients to create therapeutic goals for our work together, and am open to shifting focus as life circumstances may chart unexpected paths. I am here to validate and hold space for whatever my clients experiences are. My focus I find that my style and approach often fits well with young adults who are struggling with anxiety or depression that may come with pressures during this life stage. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching mindfulness skills and providing psychoeducation, I help to equip my clients with new tools and ways of thinking that support them on a path to reducing their symptoms. My communication style My communication style is supportive and authentic, utilizing humor where appropriate. I aim to build a comfortable rapport with my clients so there can be easy openness in the therapeutic relationship. My journey to therapy I grew up in a home where several members of my family struggled with mental health. I witnessed the positive impact that mental health providers have on people, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Psychology and eventually become a therapist.
