My name is Jennifer Maddox and I enjoy being a licensed professional counselor. I earned my Master of Arts degree as a Professional Counselor from Liberty University in 2016. I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Human Services with a specialization in health and wellness. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, alcoholism, family and relationship conflicts, grief, anger management, bipolar disorders, emergency responders, trauma, and stress.

Counseling provides an avenue to navigate through life’s challenges in a healthy and productive manner. As a counselor I strive for my clients to gain self-awareness and self-acceptance, for we are ultimately responsible for our own well-being. I believe it is important to examine your environment and your relationships, the impact of such, and how you persevere with what is at hand. I am devoted to being instrumental in helping you reach your desired outcome. We will work together to identify your goals and develop a treatment plan. Your goals, progress, and personality will determine which techniques I use. I incorporate an eclectic approach, often favoring cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic therapies.
