Hello! Welcome to Better-Help. My name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a State Certified Addiction Specialist, with over 25 years of experience working as therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns. Some of those areas of expertise are: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, alcohol and or drug abuse/dependency issues, eating disorders, compulsive overeating and codependency to name a few. I have also worked with many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I consider the client/therapist relationship to be one of the most important aspects for someone seeking help. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, trauma-focused and motivational interviewing counseling styles. Together we will create a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs with the goal of helping you feel better!
