About

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from University of New England. I have been working in the field for over 6 years and have a broad range of experience in mental health treatment, helping people across the life span who are in crisis or are having difficulty coping with major life transitions. I have experience with major life transitions, addiction, depression, anxiety and mood disorders, coping skills, LGBTQ, parenting issues, women’s issues and grief and bereavement. I am certified in Psychological First Aid and Post Trauma Stress Management.

My style is engaging and direct but also respectful and nonjudgmental, and I have been told I have a good sense of humor. I use a client-centered, solution-focused approach that draws on different therapeutic modalities, primarily CBT, Mindfulness and Motivational interviewing. Counseling can help you manage stress, have better relationships, and build coping skills to better confront life’s challenges.
