About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have been working with adolescents and their families for 4 years. I have experience working with military and their families as well as adults in an outpatient setting. Some of the concerns I have experience with in therapy are trauma, self-injury, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, disordered eating patterns, and family conflict and parenting concerns.

My counseling style is very much driven by my client and what approach works best for you. My goal is to meet you where you are at and develop a collaborative plan to reach your personal goals. I do not like labels. I believe every person deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and experience an authentic interaction with a person who wants to see them succeed. I tend to drift more toward Dialectical Behavioral Therapeutic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic Approaches, and Humanistic approaches.
