Hello!

My name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with my MSW and then went on to New York and gained experience working with adults with mental health and substance use issues. While in New York, I also attended the Ackerman Institute for the Family where I was able to learn and have experience working with families and couples trying to navigate relationship issues, communication problems, and boundary needs. I then moved to California where I had the privilege of working with our veterans and it was there that I was trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which is often the lens I use when working with my clients. I believe that by finding the connections of our thought patterns and our emotions, that we can work towards shifting our thoughts, engaging in healthier behaviors, and improving how we feel. I have most recently been living and working in Oregon where I have had experience working with adults and couples with a variety of struggles. I am motivated to help couples navigate relationship issues, especially with what the global pandemic has brought upon many relationships.

I am very client-centered in my approach, meaning that we address what you feel is important to you and then work from there to build insight, learn new skills, and help you achieve your goals. I encourage openness and transparency in sessions and hope to create a space that feels safe and non-judgmental for whatever needs you have and want to explore.

It takes a lot of courage to seek help and if I am able to help you on your journey, I very much look forward to being a part of that.
