About

Born in 1975, I pride myself as being raised in what I believe as the best generation in modern history. Gen-Xers are a breed of their own. We are known for resilience, independence and forward thinking.

Generation X: 1965 to 1980, we are now between the ages of 42 to 57 and bring with us some common stereotypes, like: being the "latch-key kids", or "the MTV generation. Recently Gen Z has dubbed us the "Karen Generation". Whatever that means....

A little about me....
I grew up in a typical middle class American household, which served its purpose for the need for therapy in my life. It helped. My 20's and 30's were brutal, but my 40's have proven to me that there are better ways to deal with life.

I consider myself a down to earth, open minded, Christian-conservative woman. I have experienced: love, divorce, infertility, childbirth, aging / dying parents and lots of other life events that have molded me to who I am now.

I hold a Masters degree in Education Administration and a Masters in Education Counseling Development. I live in Texas with my husband, Jay and our adorable Morkie, Aubrey. We have 3 adult children who have spread their wings. We can't wait to start the next phase of our life!

I am licensed in Texas with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
