Have you ever heard the saying “Knowledge is Power?” As individuals, we are only as strong as our knowledge base. Congratulations! Making the decision to seek out therapy is the first step in gaining greater knowledge and awareness of yourself and experiences in the world. By calling our office, you are already starting your journey of discovery and growth. With our therapy staff, you can find someone who is a good fit for your needs and can help you achieve your goals. My name is Jennifer Ishaq. I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University after receiving my Bachelors from Oakland University. I work with individuals of all ages in one-on-one therapy. In therapy, I take a Person-Centered and integrative approach, meaning I strive to meet my clients where they are. I use a variety of tools from different approaches of treatment like mindfulness, cognitive-behavior, self-compassion and acceptance, and breath-work to name a few. In our weekly sessions, I typically assign my clients a “challenge” to complete. This offers you an opportunity to practice positive behaviors outside of treatment.
