I'm Jenn, and I've got a passion for helping people with anxiety, stress, and trauma. I'm here to listen without judgment and offer a safe, compassionate space in therapy for you to heal and grow. I'm a graduate of OLLU in San Antonio, TX and have had my clinical license since 2019. Since 2011 I've worked in a variety of settings including acute, outpatient, correctional, and addiction/rehab. What is your approach to therapy? I blend together several approaches in therapy that include reshaping distressing thought patterns (CBT), reducing the power of triggers (ERP), building emotional regulation and interpersonal skills (DBT), personal exploration and growth (Rogerian), and leveraging your strengths (positive psychology). What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? You can expect to be respected, valued, listened to and supported. You'll better understand your symptoms and you'll have the power to decide what we do in therapy about them. You'll be given the option for assignments outside of session to foster skills, growth, and healing.
