Dr. Jennifer Ambriz, PhD, LMHC Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Psychologist license (anticipated 2024) (she/her) Dr. Ambriz values supporting the enhancement of client restoration of balance and harmony within mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Dr. Ambriz graduated with her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University. Furthermore, she has provided counseling services since 2005 with adult, youth, and child clients from diverse backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings. She is originally from California and moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest at the age of six-years-old. APPROACH TO THERAPY: Dr. Ambrizs counseling style reflects client-centered, empathic, strength based, and non-judgmental approaches to foster a therapeutic alliance. Her theoretical orientation is eclectic and she adapts counseling techniques to each unique individual client. The foundation of her clinical skills include Mindfulness based interventions, holistic approaches, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT+), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Havening Techniques.
